Some gracious, sympathetic, philanthropic, devoted and sociable persons of Bogra Upashahar and adjoining areas chalked out a plan to set up a service oriented voluntary organization. A decision was taken for establishing a service oriented institution or foundation for the said purpose. This organization shall be deemed to be an institution of multifarious welfare oriented activities for mankind. People's welfare oriented various projects or sister organizations shall be implemented under the Foundation.

Service to the sick and the distressed are honoured as the highest worship in Islam. Beloved Prophet Muhammad (sm) said " Anybody moves forward to attend a sick Muslim brother in the morning, seventy thousand Angels shall offer 'doa' for him for the whole day; on the other hand if any one attends such a noble work in the evening, similarly seventy thousand Angels shall offer 'doa' for him throughout the whole night". In another Hadith Prophet Muhammad (sm) said "Allah Himself shall allege a man on the Day of resurrection for not attending the sick."

Since no worth-mentionable service of medical care is in existence in the North western part of Bogra Town some philanthropic and generous citizens with a solemn promise have decided to involve themselves in the sacred mission and have established the "MAHI SAWAR EHSANIA FOUNDATION" in the name of the greatest saint and preacher of Islam in North Bengal, Hazrat Shah Sultan Mahmud Balkhi Mahi Sawar (Rh), specially to fulfill the basic needs of such medical facilities to thousands of sick, poor and helpless as a part of service to humanity and also to achieve the blessing and forgiveness of the Allah through such a unique & henelicial activities of Sadga-e-Jariah.

Overall co-operation of all are, therefore, very much expected to implement the dream of the sympathetic general mass. This Foundation has been set up with a vow to extend selfless service to the people irrespective of caste and creed. In the first phase, our efforts, intellects and abilities are dedicated to the noble cause of medical facilities to the afflicted people. Afterwards in the next phase, we shall, Inshah Allah, continue our efforts sincerely to chalk out programs for establishing other people's welfare oriented Institutions.
Whereas certain rules and regulations are required for proper management and smooth administration of the Foundation, this Constitution has been framed.
